Web2day traditionally ends with the final of the startup contest, the Global Challenge. Facing the judges panel composed of Samantha Jerusalmy, Paul Duan, Renaud Visage, Mounia Rkha, Eric Picarle, Hughes Hansen and Elise Nebout, the 8 finalists had 4 minutes to convince them that their project was the best!
The french startup from Paris who just raised 800,000€ appears as the leader of the 2015 edition of the contest. Aircall created a customer phone support software available in more than 30 countries, and which facilitates your presence in the entire world with a call management system.
By changing the name of the contest, Web2day wanted to demonstrate its desire to attract international participants. Challenge completed! With startups from Quebec, Turkey, Togo, Belgium, Italy, Germany and Brazil, this contest has proven to be “the most popular event among french and international startupers” said Frédéric Thual (latribune.fr). With over 200 applications for only 50 startups selected for the contest, and the presence of more investments funds, Web2day’s Global Challenge isn’t ready to quit, and promises to bring more surprises next year…
