Emmanuel Bernard
Emmanuel Bernard est architecte de plate-forme de données sur le portefeuille JBoss chez Red Hat. Il supervise la façon dont les données et le middleware interagissent et travaille en particulier sur le portefeuille de projets Hibernate ainsi que sur le projet Infinispan.
Emmanuel a rejoint l’équipe Hibernate en 2003 et depuis, son travail est quasiment 100% open source. Il a dirigé l’implémentation JPA d’Hibernate, fondé et dirigé Hibernate Search, Hibernate Validator. Sa dernière aventure est Hibernate OGM mais il contribue aussi à Infinispan, Ceylon, Awestruct et quelques autres projets pendant son temps libre.
Emmanuel est le fondateur et co-hôte de deux podcasts: Les Cast Codeurs (Français) et JBoss Community Asylum (Anglais). Il est membre du groupe d’expertise JPA et spec lead de Bean Validation. Il intervient régulièrement dans diverses conférences et JUGs, dont JavaOne, Red Hat Summit et Devoxx. Il est le co-auteur d’Hibernate Search in Action publié par Manning.
Emmanuel Bernard is a data platform architect for the JBoss portfolio at Red Hat. He oversees how data and middleware interact and is particularly involved in the Hibernate portfolio as well as in the Infinispan project.Emmanuel joined the Hibernate team in 2003 and most of his work has been open source since then. He has led the JPA implementation of Hibernate ORM, founded and led Hibernate Search, Hibernate Validator. His latest project is Hibernate OGM but he also contributes to Infinispan, Ceylon, Awestruct and a few other projects in his spare time.
Emmanuel is the founder and co-host of two podcasts : JBoss Community Asylum (English) and Les Cast Codeurs Podcast (French). He is a member of the JPA expert group and the spec lead of Bean Validation. He speaks regularly at various conferences and JUGs, including JavaOne, Red Hat Summit and Devoxx. He is the co-author of Hibernate Search in Action published by Manning.
