Florian Jourda
Florian Jourda was the first hired engineer at Box, the cloud service for enterprise content management. In the 8 years he worked there, he helped the startup grow from 7 to 1300 employees and go public. As Principal Architect, he was involved building Box most strategic products and solving Box most critical technical problems. He also played a key role in defining and maintaining the strong company culture during the explosive growth.
After 10 years in Silicon Valley, Florian moved back to France, and joined Paul Duan to launch Bayes Impact there. Bayes Impact is a NGO startup that aims at solving social problems with technology in general and big data in particular. He is currently building products that will help jobseekers explore and follow more strategies to find a new job.
Florian is also an advisor at the French accelerator TheFamily, where he helps startups with best practices around technology and organizational scaling.
Florian Jourda fût le premier employé de chez Box, le service de cloud pour les entreprises spécialisées dans le management de contenu. Durant les 8 années qu’il a passé là bas, il a aidé la startup à grandir, allant de 7 à 1300 employés et en devenant public. En tant qu’Architecte Principal, il fût très impliqué dans l’entreprise en créant les produits les plus stratégiques et en réglant les plus gros problèmes techniques de l’entreprise. Il a aussi joué un rôle clé dans la définition et le maintient de la culture d’entreprise durant son développement explosif.
Après 10 ans passé dans la Silicon Valley, Florian est rentré en France, et a rejoint Paul Duan dans le lancement de Bayes Impact. Bayes Impact est une startup ONG qui vise à régler des problèmes sociaux à l’aide la technologie et de la big data. Il est actuellement en train de construire des produits qui aideront les demandeurs d’emplois à explorer et adopter plus de stratégies pour trouver un travail.
Florian est également conseiller au sein de l’accélérateur de startup TheFamily, où il aide les startups avec les meilleurs pratiques autour de la technologie et du scalling organisationnel.
